This page tracks live swap volume across the native cross-chain swap protocolsNEAR Intents, THORChain, and Chainflip — side by side, updated hourly. As of 2026-07-07 16:18 UTC, the three protocols settled $123.3M of native cross-chain swaps in the last 24 hours, with NEAR Intents at $94.0M — about 76% of the tracked total.

What these protocols have in common

All three settle native assets — real BTC for real ETH, not wrapped representations. That distinguishes them from lock-and-mint bridges and from DEXs confined to one chain. Where they differ is the liquidity model: THORChain uses protocol-owned liquidity pools settled in RUNE, Chainflip runs a just-in-time AMM with validator-managed vaults, and NEAR Intents lets independent solvers compete to fill user intents, which is why its chain and asset coverage grows fastest (35 chains, 191 usable assets today).

Frequently asked questions

Which cross-chain swap protocol has the most volume?
As of 2026-07-07 16:18 UTC, NEAR Intents leads with $94.0M in 24-hour swap volume among the native cross-chain swap protocols tracked here (NEAR Intents, THORChain, Chainflip). The table above updates hourly.
What counts as a native cross-chain swap protocol?
Protocols that settle real native assets across chains — no wrapped tokens, no lock-and-mint bridges, no custodial exchange. NEAR Intents (solver-based), THORChain (liquidity pools), and Chainflip (JIT AMM) are the three main ones.
Why isn't a bridge like Wormhole or LayerZero listed?
Message bridges and wrapped-asset bridges solve a different problem: they move representations of assets between chains. This comparison covers protocols where a user swaps one native asset for another native asset.
Where does this data come from?
Volumes are DefiLlama's DEX summaries per protocol, refreshed hourly. NEAR Intents figures are additionally cross-checked against NearStats' own swap store of on-chain settlements (see methodology).
How much cross-chain swap volume settles per day in total?
Across the three tracked protocols, roughly $123.3M in native cross-chain swaps settled in the last 24 hours (as of 2026-07-07 16:18 UTC).
